He's about 5" and proven fertile. I still have 4 more but this one is my favorite.

Awsome Cam!

The pearling is great, and I love how it covers the head and face. He has a nice head startin' to pop too. Nice red covering the back of the fins.

That's sweet that he is proven fertile. You have a pic of the lady you're going to try and pair him with first?

I just decided to try and pair my KML. I have a Blood Parrot (or KKP, not sure which) in with him now. My KML's about 9" and has always had the tank alone, so he's not taking a tankmate lightly (I had to divide them).

Anyways, GL with your beautiful fish!

I bred him with a female red dragon about 2 weeks ago the day the fry hatched I went on vacation and when I came home the fry were gone. They weren't divided the whole time I was on vacation and when I got home I divided them. The other night I pulled the divider and she was dead by morning.. Don't understand they get along 1 minute and the next minute they don't. It sucks but I am not that upset about the female since she was just a test female anyways but not what I wanted to happen. I'm not sure what I am going to breed him with yet but I have this female growing out in another tank.

Thanks guys. For only being 5" I know he has a lot of room to grow. He has good form, strong tail/fins, good pearling, color, and his head is only going to keep growing with him. I hope to use him as a breeder. Today I divided the female pictures above next to him. I'm going to pump her up and see if I can get her to lay eggs for him.

Very nice cam. Mine is around the same size maybe a little larger, but it seems like he just quit growing. And I ruled him not fertile, because after 5 attempts, I still can't get fry.

One thing I have learned in this hobby is losing fish is a staple. Nice Male and hope that female can hang with him they would make some wicked offspring together
