I am happy to say that after a few weeks of swimming upside down my Ornate is now swimming normal and is very active. I thought at one point after i got him he was close to dead but it seems he is perfectly fine now, still dont know what it was. But now that he is healthy he is starting to bother my 2 sens by biting at them and the smaller sen has a couple torn fins. Anyone know how i can stop the ornate from being aggressive? I know some people say put a lot of bichirs together but i my biggest tank right now is a 75 that there in and i doubt i can fit any more. The ornate and 2 sens are all about 7'' give or take an inch. Also i currently have a delhezi that i picked up a week ago that is about 2'' and he is in a 20gal till he's big enough.

I added some more caves, i got some awesome rocks from a pond by my apartment, ill put them in after i wash them.

Yeah give em plenty of cover with plants and caves etc and hopefully they will be ok until the ornate outgrows the sens then you will have to think again.

good to hear your ornate is well again! my sen loves hanging out amongst my floating plants. and my ornate loves to hide in a bogwood cave - i find it amazing how fish of the same family show different behaviours. i guess thats what makes keeping fish so interesting!
