so it has been a little over 3 months since my ponds been up and running so i figured i have a day off and im bored so i would do an update,first in writing and then some pics.it has honestly taken quite awhile for me to get the pond clear.i have added filter socks to the returns and an fx5 and it seems to have done the trick.i still have the same amount of fish as before,a mantilla,3 marbles,a tiger,a regular motoro,5 silver aros,and a clown knife and are all doing great.it took the clown knife 5 weeks before he ate and the silvers about a week.all the stingrays were eating within an hour.it is absolutely incredible how much the fish have grown since being in there.i would guess the rays have each put on an inch and the aros at least two.i suspect that the mantilla is pregnant as she had bitemarks all over her a few weeks back.she had 5 pups with the male marble in there with her last year.i am running the whole pond on one 500 watt heater thats barely on so if youre considering a pond i highly recommend a hot tub cover.anyway heres some pics.sorry for the glare on a few.my camera is nothing special.thanks for looking.
