well guys, everyone has had a chance to settle in now so i thought i'd post some pics of their current condition. the bigger peru rhom is starting to thicken up a bit and the baby vinny i picked up last week is now fully healed and is growing pretty quick, the third pic is of the little peru rhom that i picked up a few weeks ago, he has already grown about an inch. you can check out the first pics that i took last week in my other thread "Some Pics of the Collection" if you wanna see the one-week turnaround. let me know what you guys think about their progress, i'll keep you guys updated on their growth.

You never cease to amaze.. most dont even know what to feed there baby p's let alone get them to eat in the first couple of weeks.. and yours are already an inch bigger.. i guess the slow growing rhom ideas go out the windows with these... beautiful fish tho man keep us updated.. if i could just get my irritans to stop swimming i would post some pics up.. he was in the tank for 5 minutes and was already eating..

the little guy eats like a champ, and he has since i got him. when i open the glass top on his tank, he swims up to the top and starts goin nuts. both the others attack food right when i throw it in there too. i have no problems with shyness in any of my fish either, all three of these guys are very active and are constantly pacing the tank, no hiding in the back for these guys.

AWSOME...

Where did u buy them from..? Im looking to buy a baby one... Any idea how much should a 2-4" cost...(Regular Black Rhom) ?

i get them from my lfs, sealevel in hopkins, mn (great shop). i don't know what prices are like around you, but i wouldn't recommend paying over $100 for any type of rhom in the 2-4" range, i would guess a good average retail price would be about $50 or so.

holey monkey crap batman. i lucked into a rhom at the local chain pet store (no endorsement here) mislabled as a med red belly for $16.95. i got him/her and have had him for about a year. he is about 6" now was about 4.5" way back then.
