hey guys, heres an update on my soon to be fowlr setup. Hard to find this tank a good spot in my house with somewhere to place the sump away from it. Placed it in this corner, and putting the sump in the "house sump" room. will be running the plumbing tomorrow after i get the return pump.

heres another update on my tank, finally got water in it tonight. 2 powerheads going after salt was added. What exact salinity should i be aiming for? got the sump in the little room behind, should be hid pretty good when all is said and done. Also painted the overflow so its the same colour as the background. What do you guys think so far? any suggestions? always open to constructive criticism.

Looking good!

suggestion: spray paint that white thing. I don't know how thats not driving you crazy.

Nice filter sock, and is that an auto top off system

yes its auto top off, im just going to have a 5 gallon camping bucket seen in one of the pictures there, that will gravity feed down once the valve opens. seems like a pretty basic way to do it, should work. This has a been a project and a half for me lately! so glad to finally see the water in it, its getting there!

also, do you think that is a good spot for my two heaters?

In a fish only tank I would aim for a little lower salinity 1.020 to 1.021. But canuck will be able to answer that question better.
