I thought I would do an update on my two male Myersi. I have had them for just over 2 years now. They are feed NLS 4.5mm jumbo formula exclusively and both their tanks recieve a 70% water change once a week. My video taking skills are not the best and do not do them justice. Hope you enjoy!

The guy that is 10.5" the second one in the vid, looks absolutely amazing. Very beautiful, cant wait till mine get that size. Stunning. :)

Really nice, wow! When I make more room I will definitly grab some of these guys!

Congratulations.Your 'myersi' are stunning! I've got four young ones coming up, the largest being about 4". They're just beginning to show hints of the colors yours display. Can't wait.

Thank you Madness! He wins hands down in color and personalty. One of the coolest cichlids I have ever kept! How big are yours now?

Thank you! When you get the space you really should give this species a try.
Both great but that second one really takes the cake. Would definitely win several awards at an ACA show...
Thank you! He is becoming a beast:)
Totally agree...wow
Thank you!

Thank you! You do not have long to wait. My Myersi grew quickly to around 8 inches before they started to slow down. My larger male developed that color pattern around the same time.

Myersi are jus lt awesome, a good specimen can compete with Umbee anyday IMO. Awesome fish:)

Thanks so much for posting that video. Your myersi are incredible!! That first one is an great looking mature fish, and the second with those trailers is very sharp looking. Definitely show fish, just great reps for the species. Nice job with them.
