UPDATE::: On My Weird RTC X TSN...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looks like TSN is the dominant trait in yours which usually I think the RTC traits are dominant because usually they have wider mouths and are lighter colored ~Trent

Yeah it looks good man, I think my favorite RTC TSN hybrid though is this one I saw which I think is a members...

lol yeah its a freaking beast, maybe someday in about a year I'll have kitty's that big when all my babies grow out, I think the TSN could reach there in a year, the planiceps maybe a year and a half but soon, oh yes soon :)

my tsn isnt even a year old yet... and he is abot 16" and about 7 months old:nilly:

the weird hybrid is not a RTC X TSN,, it is a cross between TSN and a Marble Cat,, I have 2 of them,, they are very skittish fish and have a big appetite.

What makes you think its a hybrid with a marble cat? Its got the little bit wider mouth which I suppose is possible but I'm not seeing any other marble cat like markings on the fish no large camo blotches just little spots which are characteristically more RTCish and it doesn't have the uber long whiskers of a marble cat but again I suppose that trait could be recessive, any pics of yours katfishguy? I would say it is indeed a possibility but I don't think those are nearly as common in the market either though....hmmmmm

Yeah same with mine but a little smaller, I bought my TSN at 2" in march or april I don't remember which one and hes about 14" now
