thought I would post some pics of my wild discus tank after 5 months. aquascape has gone through some minor changes but still very low tech. I wanted to show how some old myths need to die. namely that discus must be kept in low PH. my PH is a steady 7.6 and my fish are healthy and growing. prime is the only thing I add and water changes are from the tap.
I will say that they probably will not spawn but this is a show tank and I have no interest in raising fry.

Those discus and that tank are awesome. I would suggest a pike cichlid as well but then those lemon tetras wouldnt last long.

brilliant tank there

Wow, very nice Decor and Discus. Do they naturally have that Yellow Tint or is it the Light? You have me thinking here Lol
