Your tank looks great bro.Do you use any co2 or fert?

what type of bulb is that? PCs? and yeah with that much light youre definitely gonna need co2 or youre gonna have algae problems. might even have to go the pressurized route on a tank that size...

it is 196 watts with two bulbs im only running one light, i am getting a c02 system withing the next month hopefully

cork val sounds good tank

what should i do in the mean time, i had hair algae on these two nice peices of back ground anubias io bought and it wont go away? should it go away when i add co2? should i add phospate reducer to my filter?

almost all types of algae in a planted tank are caused by low levels of co2. the co2 should take care of that. in the meantime, you can dose with Flourish EXcel to help add carbon to the tank...

yea i dose with excel, guess i just gotta get a co2 system, what would the best system be for this set up?

well me personally im partial to pressurized co2 setup. i dont like the idea of messing with DIY co2 or other methods. what did you order?

if you go pressurized, you could pretty much grow any plant you want since you have more than enough light.

sorry i think i misread your previous post; i thought you had already purchased a co2 system and were waiting for it to arrive...

nope what company makes the best complete pressurized co2 system?
