I sold the Ornatum and Grammodes today from the 265g and the tank is still way overstocked. I may have to trim it down some more soon. All the aggressive fish are gone though.

Current stock:

9 wild morph snook
1 crenicichla cincta
1 " sveni
1 female orange saum
1 female geo australis
5 filament barbs
2 striped raphael
1 ornate bichir

Adios to these two. It was tough to let them go. I bred the Grammodes and have been raising the wild caught Ornatum for over a year from 2".

I picked up these two as an impulse buy.

I'm glad the aggression is gone. That is always a great feeling to have your fish living in harmony. Nice impulse buys. I've never had a better algae eater than the Flagtail I use to have. They are useful and awsome looking fish.

What is the filtration on your 265? Just curious since I have a 260.

Oh yeah, wtf, you post this thread without any pics of the Snooks? How dare you!:D

Tell me about it.

that ornatum has the nicest shape and colors ive ever seen anywhere on here. and very nice grammy. have fun with the snooks

It was a Beautiful fish. I'm very sorry to let it go. Actually the snook are a lot more fun. They're extremely interactive while the Ornatum was more reclusive.

Filtration is a 55 gallon wet dry sump running 1800gph. It has two 12" x 12" trays that I fill each with two layers of quilt batting cut to size. I have to change the pads twice a week!

As backup, it's also running an AC110 with one sponge and a buttload of Eheim biofiltration. What do you use?

Snook pics soon.

Nice Flagtails. I've always liked them but have never seen any around here. I would think that the GT would be the next best candidate to leave the 265. How do you think your Festae pair would react to it in their tank if you stick to that plan?

I sold a male Grammodes out of their tank that I didn't post since this isn't a Festae tank update lol. The female GT is very docile and only three inches. She used to be in the Festae tank but I moved her a while back. Who knows though, anything can happen. My female Festae went on a rampage and killed three of my spotted silver dollars recently.

Say it isnt so???? You had a nice grammy balton i cant believ you sold him. Im growing attached to my grammy so much that i would probly sell my festeas over him
