update on the hystrix i have saved

hey all,

i have pick up the hystrix friday
today shes in the big tank after 1day quarantaine
the hystrix haves no infections but is very damaged
the price was nice so i have take the risk

here's a pic from her in the transport box
i have never seen a ray so damaged as this one !
and the old owner must be crazy to let her in that terrible tank

wow looks like some big cat to bites out of her

the tankmates where :
-1 cren. tapajos 1 (20cm)
- oscar (20cm)
- and 3 CA cichids

i think that the CA cichlids have done it
anyway she haves a good home now !

wat size? maybe matting wound? bitten by the male before sent???

Are rays able to grow back their disc when it's been damaged/bitten like that?

there was no male or other ray in the old tank
the size is amazing ! it's 40cm's disksize

the disk will grow back in a few months
