X 2 on the floor space. After having your tank set up for a little while now would you have done anything different when you made it ?

I'm pretty happy how it turned out for my first DIY. Only thing different would be patience and attention to detail. If I bulid another, I would do it the same. I'm not happy with the lids, starting to bow a little...but I expected that. Probably replace them with glass eventually.
 
nice build i have the same isue with my lids they are half inch and i am contently flipping over love the glass idea!
 
yep.... my acrylic lids bow too, but if i take them off and lay on the ground, about an hr later they are straight again
