update: ornate growth since Christmas

What do you feed and how often?

i feed all my bichirs the same. floating pellets everyday, this is actually for the balas and clown loaches but my polli, retro, albino and weeksii eat what ever they can get to before its gone (the del, ornate,and reg senegals dont eat these). i alternate beef heart, live red worms, raw shrimp every other day (my syndontis eats this too). they also get sinking shrimp and carnivore pellets as treats during the week. and there is always convict fry available for them if they feel like hunting sounds like alot but the portions are sized so they can eat it all fairly quickly.
