Unfortunatly I had to get rid of almost my entire SA collection. :( I will never be able to part with these rare beauties though, such a gentle species and I have put so much into them.. Sitting in front of this tank just melts stress away. Sorry for the crappy FTS's..

120 US gallon, 3D background from "designs by nature", aquaponics hybrid.
x5 Satanoperca mapiritensis
x20 Hyphessobrycon colombianus

The Hyphessobrycon colombianus stay in such a tightly packed group, they are my favorite species of tetra. The large size and conspecific aggression makes them even better.

This is the slowest growing species of any fish I have ever owned. I have had them for over a year and they have doubled in size. They are right at 4" TL.

The muzzle barring has started breaking into the close spotting the species is known for. The finnage on these fish are flawless and just now starting to develop adult patterns. Pics are high rez, click to zoom in.

Pics are not and never will be a "talent" of mine sorry.. :duh:

They look amazing Justin. I'm glad you could keep them.

So nice Justin!

I have several free tanks atm, so i have been on the hunt for these again, since they became unavailable last time i didn't get them. But no luck so far :(

I could get some S. Papaterra and Auciteps though, who are also nice.
Hoping the mapiritensis will become available up here again soon, so i can make a rare Satanoperca tank

The tank looks great now that the plants have grown in! and the fish look awesome too

Thanks bro! I would give me left arm for Satanoperac pappaterra.. You should get them if they are available. I have been on the hunt for a while now. I'm jealous!

Beautiful setup

Sometimes we have to be forced to make changes. The problem with me is that I keep going back to the same fish :D

Thanks Peter! SA's (geophagine specifically) is my true passion and always will be, I won't be gone long ;)

Thanks Colin! You should see the plants growing out of the top of the tank, they are insane. I'll get pics up tonight.
