Just some random new pics since I moved him to a lighter substrate and put him by himself.
(by the way, he is still in his hospital tank)

he got the ever living crap kicked outta him by his tankmates.almost didnt make it.So I had to segregate him and hes all healed up now.really no scaring at all.Now I am just hoping his metallic blue and red colors come back again.:irked:

okay-not worthy of a comment i guess?
patience is a good thing.... it may take a while to get his color back, but i like him. he is very pearly. i am having a hard time believing that-that brute got beat up by anything. must have been in with a real monster.

yeah it was kinda wierd. He was in a tank with a male midas.male texas, male green terror and male dempsey and was the king.he would eat all the food faster then the others could and I guess they all decided they were tired of it and wanted to eat more so they waited for him to get all full and fat and then jumped him.no b/s-ALL the fish jumped him.which then started a war again in the tank since he was outta the picture on who was gonna be king.days went on and the terror got sick so i took him out and quarantined him til he was better.Put it back in the tank and they beat up the terror.I took him out. Then the texas and the Midas beat up the dempsey.took him out also.It just turned into a big mess. The Midas rules the tank now.so I will sell the Midas even though hes awesome and try and start it all over again by putting them all back in the tank again or just sell all of em and start over.so thats the story.maybe those who missed it now understand.

yeah midas' are monsters for sure. i hear they make horrible roomates

i have seen my africans do that. they all cornered a new fish i added when i first got them. i didn't realize how nasty those little fish can be.i made the bottom of the tank a huge rock, boglog, and plant maze. now they can get away from each other. even the babies survive.
