heres a little update on my boy blue, they are getting ready to spawn again but i'm assuming the fry in teh tank will be eating the eggs for the 3rd time which i dont mind, they seem to love the extra protein! the males fins are looking a little frayed, the fry are still pecking at the parents when they are hungry so i will be removing some in a little while. Already found my keeper adn at one-one and a half inch looks like a stunner already.

thanks man! iv noticed them swimming with there dorsal fins clamped a bit lately and i was thinking it was because of the fry nipping at them, should i add in some salt or remove the fry?
Wow!! Blue is looking amazing! I would pull those fry now and not risk anymore injury his and her fins. I would hate to see that turn into an infection.

Agree with jweav, at a certain point the fry become dangerous and will cannibalize the parents (and their smaller brothers and sisters), and the parents allow it.
The fry need a constant food source and unless you can feed them many times throughout the day, they need their own tank(s).
