Update...

Yesterday morning we successfully moved our 22" Pacu over an hour away and restored some order to our tank. To top things off two of the gar started feeding again last night (The Tropical and one of my Florida/Spotteds). All injuries also seem to be healing very well (all things considered) and i feel the fish will be back to themselves (for the most part) within the week.

...we live and learn!

That's excellent news. I assume the big one with the severe damage isn't feeding yet? How is that one coming along?

As of last night he was nudging food with his snout and mouthing it, but has not eaten yet. He seems to be doing great and looking good as well. He obviously has extensive damage, but he is pulling through much better than i expected (although he did have a few rough patches were i thought we could lose him).
