UPDATE

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Okay, what's the deal here? Have you switched your name back to the original one again? Or is this a glitch caused by the ongoing MFK updates? Are you suffering some sort of identity crisis?
Sorry about the confusion. I requested the Admins to temporarily change it back so i can PM a few members who don't recognize me and my lack of activity over the past few months makes them think i am a bot.

"AR1" was always a bit puzzling to me: as a shooter, my first interpretation of it was "Armalite Rifle One", but I'm certain that's not correct. Honestly, I thought "Abominus" was an absolutely terrific username; I hope that's not gone.
The AR part was a abbreviation of my name, while the 1 i added because i don't why. I was in a hurry making a account when i first joined here, seeking urgent help and later found out you couldn't change your username. Glad you like the username "Abominus", suits my role of being the abomination here.

PS: If i ever name myself as a gun or rifle, it will definitely be my favorite AR15, Assault Rifle 15.

So...you changed your name...and then changed it back so that you could contact a bunch of people to tell them you changed it...even though by that time it was the same as it always had been...and presumably now that you've explained it you will change it back to what you changed it to the first time, before you changed it back? Gotcha! Makes perfect sense...:nilly:

By the way, "AR15" does not stand for Assault Rifle 15, regardless of what the anti-gun crowd likes to say and believe in an effort to scare people. The AR is shorthand for Armalite Rifle and was the designation selected by the original maker, the Armalite company. After the U.S. military adopted the thing back in the 1960's, they designated it the M-16 because they just liked renaming stuff. :)

The M-16 is essentially the fully-automatic military version of the original civilian semi-auto AR-15.

I'm assuming the admins were even more confused than the people I messaged, lol. But it’s mostly fixed now — the only thing missing is the capital “A” in Abominus, which isn’t a big deal.

Huge thanks to benzjamin13 benzjamin13 super chill guy and somehow managed to tolerate my constant annoying requests. Appreciate it, man!

I was finding conflicting info about it on the net, thanks for clarifying it, mister John Wick.

Is that one of those PCP (Pre Charged Pneumatic) bolt-firing airguns? My friend has one, not nearly that radical looking but fun to shoot. Can't imagine a practical use for it though.

Hey, @AR1/Abominus/AR1/abominus , I don't think you accept the small-case "a" at the start of your username. I certainly wouldn't be happy with such a disrespectful lack of attention to detail!

You really should message benzjamin13 benzjamin13 again and have him correct this glaring oversight. I'm sure he won't mind hearing from you about it...:)
