Hey everyone, well as many have seen from other posts My photography skill's are far from perfect, however i still like to snap shot's,
Below are a pile of poor shot's I still have yet to find a shot that really does this guy justice, as you can see (for those who caught my other posts ) this is the survivor of my "breeding fight" his fin's and head wound have completely healed, the tail still has a bit of healing to do but not much!
Also i tried several settings and can't seem to get the blue's to display in a clear picture, i can get good color in blurry pic's or somewhat clear ones with all the blue washed out, any suggestions?
Well here is my favorite snakehead species, hopefully more will make it to me in the future!

Using flash???

Turn it off. Set your ISO high (something like 800-1600), keeping your shutter speed at above 1/60.

This should bring out the colors nicely.
Also the type/make/model of camera and lens is a factor.

Here is one of my examples:

Canon DSLR, high ISO

Hmmm... I'll set the iso higher and check the shutter speed,

Thanks!

I dont know anything about photography but maybe cleaning your tank glass will show better pics. Other then that they arnt terribly bad.

he didnt last week, Althought Oliver (belowwater) had lots in stock and good prices not to long ago,

My import plans got put on the back burner other expences popped up.

And lastly the dirty glass i noticed as well after taking the pictures, i always forget to wipe down the sides, and in that room between the splashing from the big fish, and from the turtle tank next to it the glass is always dirty

Nice channa.
Auranti are always my favorite channa.
