So has mentioned previously, it is a 10 gallon.
I want to make it like a Florida Canal with Cypress Stumps as well as my Apple Snail shell and a few other shells. For substrate I currently have a mix of brown sand and aquasoil, but if I can I’ll change to white (more of a tan) colored sand. I want to do plants but don’t know what to do or what plants I can grow well. I have a small Ficus plant that I want to incorporate but not in the actual tank.
Stocking ideas:
Bluefin Killifish
Eastern Mosquitofish (especially melanistic)
Ghost Shrimp or Grass Shrimp
Pygmy Sunfish
Florida Flagfish
Also I want to move my Speckled Madtom to my 55 but if it doesn’t work out I’ll move it back.

Not all these fish will be in the tank. They are simply ideas. I definitely want to do Bluefin Killifish.
Also sorry about any potential snarky comments. My mental health gets in the way of things. Trying to improve

I’d pass on the flagfish, they are aggressive and will limit other stocking options.
Pygmy sunfish are one of my favorite freshwater nano options - they also are quite difficult to feed. They pretty much will only take small live foods, so you need to have a good supply if you attempt to keep one.
Just fyi, ghost shrimp will eat their young, so you won’t get successful breeding the way you would with neocardina.

Ok thanks for the info.
