looking fat! How did one of the first ones die???? I might be getting two more..........one of mine jumped out of the tank!!!! Woke up and was looking and then looked at the ground, and then I was like OH MAN!, THIS STINKS! So be careful and put a lid on yours.

very awesome cats. Would love to do the skeleton of one lol. Would like more to keep one, but I dont have the money right now with building my tanks, and my hot rod.

whoa they have grown quite a lot
nice
should have put the previous pics too that way it would have been easier to get the size

Totally my stupid fault. I don't like a sand substrate due to it compacting and getting dead spots. Well I had been feeding the first two heavily with live blackworms which can stay alive for a good time in the tank. I failed to take into account the would burrow into the sand and when I went to do a water change I stirred the sand and found a crap load of dead & decaying ones in the sand. Then found the dead pacman. The water had fouled!!! Got rid of all but a very small amount of sand.

Would have, but my computer crashed last weekend and I had to get a new one. Lazy me.....I didn't put the original two pacman pics on a CD yet so they are lost.

How big do these bad boys get???

About 30-32"

gotcha about the water fouling. Try feeding them silversides and pellets. Now remember the warning I gave you.....they can jump so cover your tank if possible. Just found one of mine on the ground this morning dried up :(

I just now ordered two from Rich so this time no more mistakes on my side too!

I never have uncovered tanks!! Several reasons are.

Water Evaporation
Fish jump
Airborne crap can get in

Thanks for the food recommendations, but I'll stick with live blackworms until they hit about the 4" mark.

Live blackworms are healthy and pure protein which is why mine are growing so quickly!!

After they hit the 4" mark, they will be weened off the blackworms and on to shrimp and nightcrawlers.
