This guy after two weeks of hiding and being picky with eating has snapped out of it.He now is eating like a pig and swimming all over the place.He is around 24 inches and super thick as my arm.

Wow, you made me wish I didnt get rid of mine!! We also had fed ours earthworms and ghost shrimp and blood worms seemed to be his favorite. He was also only half the size of your amazing "smokey"!!!!! Btw, good score!

Great looking fire eel. I myself have a 16" that I got two weeks ago. Its still in hiding/starvation mode. Hopefully, it snaps out of it soon.
