But i cant figure out what i am seeing in the picture of the full tank shot.

What are those big black things?

The two things you see in the tank are Palm tree like leaves. I bought them from wallmart for a couple of bucks. I know the two plecos like them and it gives the tank a more natural look. Thanks for all the comments!

Thats a very creative background you have.

The background I made out of large drawing paper, oil pastels, some scotch tape and a couple of hours.
