Definately an awesome fish/tank bro!! Jealous am I! I am really going to have to stop by your place whenever I come to visit my parents. Just set me up a pallet infront of their tank and I'll 'sleep' right there.

Yes, its a female johanna. Looks like the 'rainbow' variant as well. Johannas don't get enough credit, they are AWESOME pikes. Some of the best looking Lugubris are actually johanna.....
Thanks everyone, I am jacked about them also especially the Trombeta, Ive told the story before with her. I had a chance to get quite a few of them and being the idiot I am, well you can figure the rest out......
First rule of piking.... Always purchase at least a small group.
I am also getting pumped over the Tapajos, as you can see they are developing red in the caudal area and around the operculum, so I am hoping that they turn out to be the more colorful variant.
Almost got rid of the Jo and the X1, glad I didn't. X1 is kind of knucklehead
but I have gotten attached to her. Thought it was a male until about 5 weeks ago.
Hey Jer, Hopefully by the time you come up this way, I'll have my new fishroom setup. The oldest boy moved out (YeahYa) so I am now taking over his room in the basement (20' x 15'). All mine and me fishies
Also, I always like to throw in a group pic to show it can be done.
