10" and 9" abalios breeding. They did not carry the eggs but kinda cool to see the big ones breeding! :)

While moving over some abalios, a female started releasing babies that she was holding. Did not know she had breed but I am trying to take care of the babies in a bucket with an airstone and heater. Im currently doing 50+ % water changes every day. just taking water out and replacing the water with the 500g water. babies look like they are doing well. have only lost 5 since she spit them out. counted around 115 of the little guys. here are some pictures. it's funny, when i put my finger in the water, they are very curious and come right over! they are so cute! actually, this is my first real batch. have had breeding in the past, but they always seem to swallow the eggs. very exciting!

Here is a piece of driftwood and some rocks that the fish like to swim around on one side of the 500g

Accidental fry are the best! Love that 500g of your GQ!

Is that a giant wad of lucky bamboo?

Thanks guys!
Jk47- yes it is. the bf was given it when he dropped off the 120 g sump we were using before we switched to a smaller sump. Know its a slow grower and doesn't really do much. hah but it is kinda cool to have in there

Just took pictures of my A. Heckelii and S. leucostictas! will update in a bit!

B-E-A-utiful!

Very nice. Congrats on the babies. How are they doing now?
