Here's the tank three months ago when I first got them.

Here they are now, these guys are putting on some size and doing great. I've been thinking about taking the fake plants out...what do you guys think? Should they stay or go? Any other comments or suggestions? Thanks...

I am the same way, especially with driftwood. Unless you find something else interactive that breaks up line of sight, I say leave them for the fish if nothing else. I am using those same plants (modified) in my next tank.

I get them at Michael's/MJDesigns for $6.99 each. That's about a third what Petsmart wants for a smaller version.

tank to me lloks a little cramped. i like the plants so id probably take out about half of them. they seem to have growm very well and i love the color on these guys

They have plenty of room for now. I put a lot of driftwood bunched up there on the left. They love to all shoal in a group and hover around it. There's still a lot more tank for them to swim around in. There's also space behind the wood and plants which are arranged thru the center of the tank. :)
