All of the tails need work, otherwise very nice fish.

How can you tell when they're not in the water? You can't fix droptail if that's what you're refering to which is not evident in any photos. You can't breed out droptail it only gets worse with generation. I think the tails are fine if anything the thai silk which is a kamfa should have given nice wrap tail. I think the fish are awesome. I'm glad to see u.s. bred kamalau I think the next generation can only get better.

Thin caudal peduncle is not to my liking. No I am not talking about drop tail. Just an opinion don't get so defensive.

Don't leave negative feedback without explaining yourself it doesn't help anybody out. I see what you're saying but I think its due to the fact that the fish are out of the water and their tails and fins are just laying there. If the fish were in the water their fins would be back and it probably wouldn't look like that. As long as the fish is healthy and can swim without problems I don't see any other use for that section. With hybrids there are a lot of deformities that can pop up. People all have their own tastes but I think the fish are fine just the way they are.

Do you have any advice on how to thicken up the section where the body meets the tail? The only thing I can think is to breed it to a taller bodied fish. Most young thai silk I see are long and skinny but I've never heard anybody complain and they usually beef up with age/size and I imagine these will be the same. The way I look at is the difference between a child and an adult. I was a scrawny kid but as soon as I hit puberty my muscles all developed.
