Lookin good Jo! I love the Notatus. My LFS has some subadults and juvies, the wife will not shut up about them... She wants them pretty bad and I am considering picking up a couple. You happy with them???

Love that royal too, you have good taste in stock. GL getting an ID on your other sev.

thanks a ton. Im really happy with the Notatus. They are neat little guys. Cant wait to see them grow.

My mystery severum may never be ID'd... to bad its not really cool

Yeah the Notatus seem lime one of those fish you want to yell at to "hurry up" and grow. Do they show any aggression in your opinion? Just curious.

BTW, what kind of sand are you using? I really like how fine/white it looks. ;)

Your notatus look just like mine. They're so different in appearance compared to my rotkeils when they were the same size. I love the black/maroon spotting that's already coming out at this size. They are feisty little eaters and they hit a bit of a growth spurt which makes me feel better. It looks like I may end up with three males and two females.

How many do you have?

I dont think they show much aggression at this point. My unID'd severum chases them a bit and little bursts here and there but nothing serious.

The sand I use is just pool filter sand

They do have a unique appearance. One stays lighter and the other darker, so I was worried for a but that one wasnt a notatus. With the spotting showing, my fears were put to rest. I only have 2 of them and wishing I had ordered a few more.
