this is my little 10 gallon project that I have set up at work. I wanted something that is low tech and almost maintenance free. the plants use up all of the nitrate in here, the only thing that this setup requires is frequent water addition, the plants soak up and evaporate a lot of it. No algae problems ever though.

this is my rescaped 55 gallon planted cichlid tank. I had to remove half of the amazon swords because they were getting too big. I also sold more than half of the fish, the aggressive ones that were preventing my acei from breeding. the young acei from the riparium are going in here soon and hopefully they will start to breed for me.

for the turtle lovers here... my baby RES finally meets his bigger cousin. they are best friends now.

this is my growout mixed tank. I have sold some of the fish that started showing aggression towards the tankmates and these are now fine. the two africans are going into the african cichlid tank, while the severum is going into the oscar tank. also about half of the rest are destined for a 90 gallon tank... I know it looks way overstocked and cramped but I compensate for this by feeding them often and doing about 50% water changes every 3-4 days. Most of them are growing very well. except the EBJD, for some reason he's growing slow.

Nice.

I really like the plants, nice tanks.
