Just a few shots of the carpintis x cyanoguttatus(12"+), black arowana (osteoglossum ferreirai)(18"), blind severum (Heros Severus)(7"+), and tinfoil barbs(Barbonymus altus)(6-8"). Sorry for the poor quality, I need a DSLR...

Nice fish. Especially the carpinte/cyno hybrid. He looks great. Did you breed him yourself?
Thanks, no I bought him. I plan on breeding him with a red texas, but really am not sure.

That carpintis/cyano is one of the most beautiful fish I've ever seen. Love the huge forehead. How old is he?
Thanks! About 3 and a half years. Forehead enlarges everyday and I have a feeling he won't stop growing for a while.

Damn, that carpintis/cyano is very bad arse. Bad to the bone!!!!!
Thanks!

More comments good/bad are welcome.

Nice collection.BTW what kind of plant is that nexts to the aro?

Some type of dwarf lily pad, I have other species in there as well. Not even the toughest of fish can uproot or destroy them. That leaf is pretty old and fell off a few days after pics were taken...
There is moss on the log under him, that too is pretty indestructible.
