since i havent been on in a while i figure i will post updates on my gars. i dont have a camera anymore cuz the cell phones got turned off so i cant post pics.

my 17 1/2" longnose finally started eating pellets, he has grown about a half inch since i moved him back into the 75g for the winter, (planning on a bigger tank hopefully in febuary).
the smaller longnose past away recently for reasons unknown. he was eating just fine, none of the other tankmates picked on him and we woke up one morning and he was dead.
the florida is doing really well. and is 10", this one is still eating feeders.

Possible broken back? They are known for this....that's how I lost me juvie Longnose.

i didnt think about that. considering that his back was completely straight and was completely healthy that i knew of.

how did you get them on pellets? i need info how to do it i been giving them nothing but feeders and now they are around 7ins long cause i couldnt get time on pellets

please reply i need to get my guys on pellets expensive to feed feeders

i didnt really do anything. i just threw some pellets in for my senegal and african brown knife and my longnose started eating them.

expensive to feed feeds yes but mine is on a variet diet of goldfish ghost shrimp and minnows and does well
very healthy and good color
