I picked up a 46gal Bowfront aquarium for nothing, i guess one mam's trash is another man's treasure:naughty:, well the longears and lmb got a nice upgrade from their 20 long

yeah, someone was throwing away the tank, stand, and hood assembly and it had no leaks or anything which was awesome
 
well the sunfish will be alright and the bass will eventually go to a 90gal pond and then a private pond that some family owns

I dunno, IMO you need another 30g or so for the sunfish to be alright, especially since theres more than one.
 
they are lucky to be 5 inches long, i am sure they will be fine and they are not going to get any larger
 
These fish badly needed the upgrade, and in the future, I bet they will want more space again. For now they look okay though.

I am in need of this upgrade...I have a frontosa in a 29, and even though he has room to swim around and stuff (he is only 5") I would really like a bigger house for him.
 
Really, guys? I mean, really? He already said the bass will be going to a pond. And if 46 gallons isn't enough for two five-inch fish which happen to be getting along and are about as big as they'll ever get, then my Oscar must be miserable in his 125g.

Those are beautiful, beautiful longears and congrats on your new tank. It is very nice. If you're interested in looking at him, I have a longear, too. He's deformed, though. Pics are in my albums.
