Upgrade from a 150 to a 225 for a Dovii?

My Dovii is pushing 5ish inches in a 150g by himself and I'm not sure if I should make this offer. I can get a "225" gallon fish tank for $300. The seller says its 6x2x3. I know that this doesnt add up to 225 but is $300 still a good pricefor a 6x2x3? Or shoud I stick with the 150? My dovii is a male so he'll grow big in case that matters. Thanks.

If those are the correct measurements than that is 270 gallons. I would grab that for 300 real quick. If you buy it post pics and the actual measurements.

I'm guessing you will want to give your fish an 8ft tank, 240gal, at some point in his life. If that's true I'd say just go from the 150 to the 240. Save yourself the double upgrade.

Or get both. I have said tank and I love the eXtra height. Get it AND a 240 down the road.
