I am in need of an upgrade and I am planning on getting a 300 gallon if all goes well but that is a lot of weight...you guys that have bigger tanks how do you brace the floor or do you??? Thanks Jamie

I don't have a basement and the room it is going in is a room addition and I am pretty sure it is just on a slab. But the rest of the house is on a craw space.

If it is on a concrete slab it should be fine.

Can you get under there?

Cement blocks and wood shims are how I've braces wood floors.

ummm...I am not too sure, we just moved in last Oct. I don't think I can get under there...??? Do you think it will be ok on the slab??

On the slab there shouldnt be any probs. If u have space under then you are going to want to shore it up some.
