Ok so I am upgrading to a 180 I plan on using my existing fx5 from my 75 when i set it up. Now my question is how long will i have to cycle my new tank and whats the best bb booster to use? thanks in advance:nilly::headbang2:grinno:

I use seachem stability, best IMO. As long as your not adding any new fish to the tank you should just be able to transfer tanks no problem. Just be sure you move over your already aged bio media with the filter and call it good. As long as you use the seachem and your fx5 you should be able to put your fish in their new home immediately.

DO NOT !!! fill the 180g with new water and poor w/e cycling additive you choose w/o adding in your fish and expect your tank to cycle. You have to move your fish @ the same time.

if the fish are in the 75 and the fx5 is running on the 75, you can just fill up the 180, dechlor, and then put the fish and the FX5 on there at exactly the same time. no need to do anything else
