So two days ago the ballists on our 37t blew out. the hood is past recovering imo.. so instead of just getting a new hood for the tank, decidied this is a good time to upgrade the tank to and empty 55 we have sitting in the basement. im looking into a TTHO t5 light like i had on the 37 since this is a planted tank.

3x LF rosy barbs
1x Starry night eel
1x suwelia loach
a mess of fancy guppies ( i pull and feed off fish periodically to keep the gene pool decent and the population under control)
adding from another tank.
3x albino cory cats
2x albino lf bristlenose plecos
Ide like to add a larger centerpeice fish but dont want an angelfish. it has to be active and preferablly coloful. its for our daughter afterall so colorful and active fish are good, and not eat plants. Ive always liked discus but im not sure keeping just one would work, nore do i think a group would fit in the tank with my current fish?
