When we move on the 1st, I get to set up a new 55. Hopefully, this is what it will have...
2 14'' ropes, 1 9'' abk, 2 3'' abk, 2 golden wonder killifish, 5 nickel/dime sized assorted angels, 1 small pleco, 1 cory, 2 7'' senegals, 8 african clawed frogs (which I hope to watch get eaten), 1 red clawed crab, 2 african leaf fish (one is an inch and a half, the other only a half inch - he's good at hiding though). Going to try black sand as a bottom - never had sand before. Lots of hiding places and plants planned as well.
I totally understand that this tank will be in NO WAY big enough for these fish when they are fully grown, but they are all pretty small right now. The whole idea with having these fish that will get much larger is that I have an excuse for a bigger tank later on.
Is this doable if I keep up with my water changes or is it too much? I already have arrangements to take several of my fish to the lfs for store credit - if the general idea is that the tank will be overpopulated, I'll take a few more with me when I drop them off
