Well, I want to upgrade my Dell 8700. I don't want another computer, but would rather modify the components I already have. I was thinking adding a gig of memory to start, then slowly go through it all. Any suggestions on brands or what to get?

make shure u get the right speed and type yur comp is prolly ddr and prolly 2700 from past expreiences from takning dells apart
I hate upgrading mass produced computers! Tried with my dell, got a new power supply, guess what! Dell makes their own connections, found ways to do it on the net but I didn't want to mess with it. Ended up going to newegg and building one from scratch.
My next comp, well actually laptop, WILL NOT be a Dell. I hate their customer service, products, prices, you name it. ****, I hate this dumbass mouse pad that they gave me.
