Upgrading from NLS growth

In my Lake Tanganyika tank, what is the next step from NLS growth? I would think either the Thera formula or the cichlid formula.

Does anyone have any experience with the sinking wafers? I'm considering picking those up as well for my pleco.

I would move to 1mm or 2mm depending on the size of the fish. 1mm cichlid formula or 2mm medium fish formula.
