Upgrading snail setup!

So I'm upgrading my snail breeding tank from a 55 gallon to a 75 gallon, and will be filtering it with an Eheim Pro 3e 2076. Have yet to decide if the aquaclear will stay on the tank. I also will be adding a sump down the road.

what kind of snails you got? pics? what do they eat? plants or alage or both?

I breed briggs in a 50 talll filled 2/4 way up to give them room to lay eggs.How do you keep the baby snails out of the filter?I use sponges to filter.

Haven't had much problems with the snails going into the filter. However, I've always run sponge filters as prefilters on my tank.
