Upgrading to a 125 from a 55.

I just need some advice...so I currently have a established 55g but I'm transferring all my filters and fish to the new 125 on the same day. Would it be an instant cycle? Or should I just run a new filter on the tank first? Also would transferring the fish in a 5gal bucket would be ok for a 20 min drive without an air pump? Thanks in advance for the tips!!

Yup instant cycle, just don't let filters sit off for hours on end. The fish should be fine in bucket as long as it is big enough.

Yea drive is fine in a bucket.I would add air pump/stone to bucket while doing the tank set-up, and maybe separate fish using a few buckets, sometimes they can beat on each other
