upside down catfish with frontosa

I would say yes. I know many Frontosa owners that do both together with no problems.
 
I keep mine with synodontis catfish...
 
alright i got a pair but the pair is only 2.5 inches and i am scared they will eat them
so i put em in the sump
just in time they reach the length
my fronts are 5 inches
 
My synodontis had got beaten up pretty good. He was in a 125g with a 7" frontosa and a 4" yellow lab. and a 12" Pleco. His dorsal fin was chewed up to a nub. I then moved him in my 55gal tropical (yea yea iknow) But he is thriving in there now. His fins grew back in a mater of weeks.
