Two of my Uspdwn. Cats died - I have had them for about a year and out of the blue two die with the 'no reason' diagnosis.

pH = 7.4
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 5ppm

Any Ideas??

No idea why they died but I have a question? I have a tank that has 3 small upside down cats and I never see them they allways hide in the decor. I know they are still alive b/c we got worried one day and moved out all the decor to count fish. And they were still there.

So did yours allways hide.

^ very true, i've had one for 1.5 years and never saw him until we moved the fish into a 55g and converted the tank he was in. i picked up the coral lookalike decoration and he was 5x bigger. hope u find them

Were they feeding? Any aggro. tankmates?

Not exactly, they never hid behind rocks or decor - they were rarely active, but would once and a while race around the tank...usually they would be on the gargoyle arch visible.

The AP liquid reagent test is a good one. That's what I've been using for several years now
