Well my peacock bass's conditions has worsened. He now swims upside down at the bottom of the tank. Won't move much. The oscar and catfish are doing very well. I am not sure if he has a swim bladder disorder oe something because he always seemed to point his head downwards and I don't know if this was a sign. Is there anything I can do to help him?

Sounds pretty bad. I had a couple of green sunfish do the same thing. It happened when I moved them from the lake to my 240. I'm sure it was something to do with a lack of oxygen in the moving tank. I'm not sure there's anything you can do.

Ya I think he isn't gonna make it... I don't think I will get another one because my parents probably wouldn't be to pleased, but you never know. I just feel like I have been a terrible owner for it. Thought I was finally on track with it, even got it eating freeze dried krill by thawing it with the bloowdworms and they got the juice all over them. Thankyou all for your all the help you've provided.

well you need to check your parameters to make sure you dont have any spike anywhere!!! also this has been brought up before and the last time i remember they were temensis that had the same problem... they were moved from a smaller tank to a bigger tank.. and all he did was airate it more to give more oxygen and they pull'd thru....

but here's the link to refer to.....
