In the fish section LOL
Currently on my 150 gallon tank i have 1 single ehiem professional 2028. With the fish stock i have in there now it doesnt seem to be efficent so basically i wanted you guys opinion on another canister filter not fx5 or ehiem pro but a smaller model or of comprable size that i can pack pads and media into that will just mover water and filter dirt. I dont want to really spend more than
200-250 dollars and i basically need a "horse of a filter" i was thinking about a ehiem classic Rena or posiibly a fluval. I dont have enough clearence on the back of my tank for a HOB so that is out of the question....

All imput is appreciated

just get a xp3 or a xp4.... but a fx5 for 200shipped from Johnptc is a reall good deal

is a w/d an option? If not you can get a good deal on Fluval products here on MFK....FX5 preferred...

I have 2 FX5's and I run those with medium w/d filters on my 180 and 150...

All the typical area great, but I tried a different way and it seems to work great. There are a bunch of off brand canisters I've found. I have my main systems with the upper class canisters, but the secondary filters are makes like Jebo, SunSun, etc. They are dirt cheap and seem to do a pretty good job. I get the added water movement, added filtration, and the ease-of-mind knowing I have a backup in place.
I picked up a Jebo 828 for like $63.00 from http://www.shopjebo.com/15/canister_filters_supply.aspx

I'd run an Eheim classic as the backup filter. Run an Eheim 2217 packed with ehfi mech and extra foam pads.

why not get a horse when u got the money to buy one u say u got 200-250 like its been said get a fx5 from john for 200 shipped can't do much better then that
