URGENT Flowerhorn fading or dropsy?

So recently I have a male in with my female and of course shes's a little bit darker. Past couple weeks though she's actually blotching into bright colors and getting kind of fat. I thought it might be dropsy but shes eating ok and very active. Any Ideas?

Fading...as long as it's eating & moving around ok, nothing to worry about. Watch it blossom into a thing of beauty with time.

Looks fine to me --Dropsy --she would go down fast. Hopefully it fades very nice for you! Nice looking fish!

If that's the case I can't wait for her to grow and get bigger. She's getting along with my kamfa male so hoping for some beauties
