okay, last saturday I lost my baby tang. I dont know what of, I just found him in the bottom of the tank dead. Well, my dogface stopped eating and i thought he was just in his normal routine.

Well, i noticed a white area on my damsel's mouth. I thought it was just sand so i sort of ignored it. then i really got to looking and i noticed that his skin appeared to be peeling off there.

My dogface has stopped eating for three days now. his skin appears to be peeling off as well and my damsel has stopped eating completely.

What do i do? I am so lost here. I did not do hyposalinity because a friend of mine told me not to and told me to just let the ich take its course...stupid me i listened to him...what should i do? what medicines can i use in my tank to save them???pleas help

too late for one, my damsel died earlier this morning, my dogface isnt swimming anymore....i think im gonna lose him soon too

the dogface just passed away. im down to one fish please help

 tank is at 80 and he is acting perfectly normal, i dont know what to do, ive never heard of their skin peeling off

ummm...normal salinity for my tank, 1.022 specific gravity. my nitrates were kinda high, but nothing new about it. The clown is still eating so I dont know. A friend of mine introduced some pom pom xenia to try to take out the nitrates and he put a new light on my tank. I mean, the damsel started hiding out. I put some new shells in the tank, but they were boild for an hour before being put in there

Could be stress related due to a new light. It might have been JUST barely enough stress to allow the crypt (if that is what it was) to take ahold of the animals.

okay then what should i do? should i turn off the light? it basically shines on only the refugium where my xenia are. my clown is acting perfectly normal. i am thinking about starting up a 135 gallon tank and i was wondering how well would a snowflake deel with ich if i had a tank get infected?

Eels can be hit and miss. Sometimes you get one that will stand up to anything, sometimes you get one that will die if you turn the light on with the wrong hand. I would suggest starting completly from scratch if you want to do a new tank.
