I HAVE UPLOADED THE PICS OF MY F/H .KINDLY HAVE A LOOK AND SUGGEST ME THE REMEDY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.MY F/H DOESN'T SWIMS PROPERLY AND SITS EITHER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK OR ELSE SHE WILL BE JUST STANDING AT THE TOP OF WATER SURFACE.ALL THE TIMES IT SPITS OUT WHITE THREAD LIKE THING I DON'T KNOW WHT IT IS ...MY TANK IS FULL OF THIS THREAD LIKE THING ... I HAVE SEARCHED ALL THE SOURCES FROM THE INTERNET BUT TILL NOW SHE IS NOT CURED ...SHE ALSO HAS HITH DISEASE AND I AM USING METRONIDAZOLE FLAGYL 200 AND 400mg WHICH IS EASILY AVAILABLE AT THE LOCAL PHARMACY STORES ...SHE IS NOT EATING ANYTHING FROM THE PAST 40 TO 50 DAYS ..IT EATS ONLY LIVE FISHES ONLY ..SHE IS NOT EATING PELLETS OR BLOOD WORMS ETC ETC...I WANT MY FISH TO GET RID OF THE HITH AND ALSO WANT TO INCREASE THE APPETITE SO THT IT EATS PELLETS AND OTHER USEFUL THINGS WHICH WILL HELP IN IMPROVING MY FISH HEALTH ..PLS KINDLY HELP ME AND REPLY ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND ALSO LET ME KNOW THE OTHER DISEASE WHICH MY FISH IS FACING AND ALSO ABOUT THE THREAD LIKE WHICH COMES OUT FROM THE MOUTH ...MY TANK WATER CAPACITY IS 60 LITERS AND HAS A HEATER AND A SUBMERSIBLE WATER FILTER ... SUGGEST ME SOME EASY REMEDY WHICH I CAN DO IT IN MY HOME ..SINCE I STAY IN INDIA ITS DIFFICULT TO GET MEDICINES WHICH ARE AVAILABLE IN USA ...SO PLS HELP ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE... ANY VALUABLE HELP IS APPRECIATED....

60 liters = 15 us gallons. Thats probably your first problem. My guess is poor water quality mixed with poor diet, Plus the 4in of water you have her in probably has her completly stressed.
Ive never used pharmacy grade meds on my fish so Im not sure how that works. Do you even have a filter running in there?
That fish is in about 5 gallons of water. I dont see a filter or heater running correctly so whatever your trying to do is doing more harm than good. Amm. and nitrates are probably through the roof.
Fill the tank up and add 2 tablespoons per 10gallons of water. Have the filter on. Turn the temp up to 85.
This will be a step in the right direction. Im not going to make any promises though because her health has been seriously compremised.
But like I said, try the hyposalinity with the salt I mentioned. This takes care of a good bit of protozoans, But your also looking at some bacterial issues with the HITH.

Your water quality is terrible. As stated in the other forum. (FHRUS) I'm sure you know that the tank is way to small for that FlowerHorn. Do a major water change. Add salt. Check for nitrite/nitrate levels. From the looks of it, it's real bad.

Also, don't write in caps. Alot of people don't like reading that.
 
you have not mentioned any salt name and btw i am not yelling its just a way of requesting to other members on this forum who can help me out to cure my fish. @Rgaray5396 : which salt to add ?? while doing water change i add the normal salt which is used for cooking purpose ?? u mean any other salt or the common salt itself ?hmm i did everythin but no change in health ??
 
Not enough filtration and too small a tank fist. Live only food is bad, causes all kinds of problems for sure. Feeders are a once in a blue moon treat if at all.

Find a bigger tank for sure, check the classifieds-even a 55gallon is better than your current setup.

Start with water changes and get at least the test strips they are better than nothing at all. Salt-Aquarium salt is the salt being refered too. I have also used Kosher salt as a cheap alternative. Like a teaspoon per 15 gallons to start with.
 
Wow!! SO sad. NO LIVE FOOD It brings bad thing to your tank, Fill the tank up and keep it up by letting your power head filter come above the water for more than 1 to 4 hours probably KILLED your good bacteria. I see hole in the head sign of poor water conditions .
Fill the tank up. and do a 20% water change every day atleast every 2 days for the next 6 weeks .My old lady wants some bye
 
i am using the kosher salt only but still she is not active and not swimming at all neither eating anything from past two and a half months ?i am really very worried abt this and want to treat her as soon as possible ...........can anyone suggest me the right treatment to make her eat pellets once again and to cure hith for my fish ?? r8 now i am treating her in a bucket for hith and am changing the water daily ?? i have cleaned my fish tank fully ........shall i continue treating her in bucket or shall i put her again into the fish tank ?
