My 4-5 inch blue peacock cichlid has what I believe to be cotton mouth except it's everywhere except his mouth and gills. It started off as a single white spot that I thought was ich so I raised the temperature. Well the next morning he has sores all over his body and where clear and white. Now 4 days into it those sores are white fuzz that looks like cotton mouth. I started him on a generic antibiotic for funguses 2 days but tonight he has become extremely lethargic.
Please help. Does he have cotton mouth? And if so what's the best way to treat or should I just continue with the generic meds.
