Add salt and make sure your water is at least 86 F. IDK what else to do so do that and wait for more info. Also add an aerator.

okay ive just raised the temp up a tad, i reallly do not wanna loose these guys after what i went through to get them =[

Yeah, I wouldn't either. Try and post this information in the freshwater diseases/illnesses forum as well. You will most likely get more detailed/better info over there (Keep the temp at 86-88 though.)

I agree with 1<3fish. Salt and upped temps are all you really need to do, BUT if you decide to use meds for ich or other parasites, just use half the dosage directed on the box.

I think the last time I asked how much salt guys added, I got varying responses. I, myself, do about 1 tblspn per 5 gallons. When you add salt and up the temperature to 86-88* make sure you add aeration if there isn't one already.

I agree that 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons is a good general dosage.

It's prbly ick or white spot witch can look fuzzy wiith white dots also stress from an 8 hour drive and water temps goin down from the ride. The only thing i could ad is keep the water clean and krispy!!!

Do you know the water parameters they came from and how they compared to yours?

The traveling alone was a lot of stress on them, if there was a significant water parameter difference that only adds to it.

Keep the lights out on the tank. Lights add to stress.

What are your nitrates? Can you get them under 10ppm and keep them there for at least 2 weeks? (LOTS of water changes!) Put that with the salt and heat and you should be able to save a previously healthy fish. If they were sick before they got in the car or came from high nitrate water: all bets are off.
